Fully Certified Postnatal Doula services with Sophie Barkey, working on the South Coast of England covering West Sussex and Hampshire.

I am a Postnatal Doula based in Chichester, West Sussex -on the South Coast of England, specialising in womens postnatal care, mental health and wellbeing.

Supporting women postnatally is something I am passionate about - ensuring they have the help and support, the education and knowledge, and an extra pair of hands when they it.

Whether its helping you plan and organise ready for your arrival, helping you figure out sleep routines, or holding the baby whilst you nap - I am there to help.

I have 3 boys of my own and have loved being at home and raising them, and I look forward to sharing all that I’ve learnt along the way with you, as we work together.

What I can help you with…

Support once baby is here…

Together we can make a plan of what help and tasks you need me to do. This may be helping the baby sleep, feeding or bathing baby. It might be doing baby’s laundry or cooking some nutritious meals for you and the family. The tasks are tailored to the individual needs of you and your family, and will always be supporting you to be the best parent you can be.

Sibling support

I can help with transitioning older siblings to bigger beds or different bedrooms ready for their baby brother or sister to arrive and help them get adjusted to a new baby too.
